Timeline won't play, Stop by frame and freeze

Hi Folks,

Need your help IF you could. But it’s kinda hard to describe it even without photo or video.

Have anyone know how to make the timeline running???

I’m using Windows 11 with Shortcut on my PC.

The problem I experience with it is once after I got all the videos on the TIMELINE. Including transitions and effects. When I click at the beginning of the TIMELINE, I click on the error to START TO PLAY on the TIMELINE. All the sudden it ONLY play for a second and then it STOP.

I ran into the problem a few time.
Do anyone knows how to make the TIMELINE play instead of frame by frame.

I pressed the space bar and I try the ENTER key and thought that it would help to make the TIMLINE PLAY. But it doesn’t. It just won’t play but only by the second.

Is there a keystroke that would make the TIMELINE to play???

I try press on the ESC bottom, but that doesn’t do any changes to make the TIMELINE PLAY.

I feel like it’s some kind of ERROR with Windows???

So what I did was I SAVE the project and then EXIT OUT / QUIT Shortcut.

I even END TASK it.

When I re-load my project THEN the TIMELINE was WORKING to PLAY.

You Got it???

So, what do I do IF the TIMELINE do get STUCK or FREEZE by frame only???

This is using on Windows 11 on a Hewlett Packer PC that’s “Plug and Play”. 2022 model.

Anyone has this experience with TIMELINE that won’t PLAY?? But only go by a frame at a time.

I wonder if you could be experiencing what this user experienced:

For that user, the problem spontaneously fixed itself. Maybe try applying Windows updates and then rebooting your computer?

Could you tell us if the audio playback had any issues or not? While the video may be laggy, what about audio?
