Time remap filter disappearing

At random it seems, the time remap filter will disappear. I used it once on a video of a project and when I tried to apply to another video (or, later, the same one), it wasn’t there anymore, so I went to record and it came back, out of nowhere. It happened again though, and I can’t apply the filter to any clip because it doesn’t show up.
This has happened with other projects too, so I never use the filter

Does it only happen in the Source player tab? I think I have seen this before, but I did not figure out when. However, I recall it was only in Source, not Timeline.
