The timeline is down there , i don't know how to resize it

I have Windows 7 64bit, and installed 64bit version, if thats of any help.
I tried:

1. Settings > Display Method > And click all 4 buttons individally (didn’t help)
2. View > Layout > Restore Default Layout
   Even if i put video in there , its still the same size
