the audio clips are delayed by 2 seconds from my dialogue aka i make a scene with a text but the sound is delayed

any ideas?

Is the sound being recorded in camera, or are you using a stand alone sound recorder?

Try converting the file using Properties > menu > Convert to Edit-friendly.
If that does not help, then the problem is in your file, and you need to adjust in Shotcut. For less than 1 second, you can use Properties > Audio > Sync. For more than that, right-click the clip on the timeline and choose Detach Audio. Then, move either the audio or video a little different from each other to achieve the desired result.
