In Shotcut 23.07.29 (Linux/Fedora) the “text: rich” option is not appearing on the Filters menu (only text: simple).
And old projects that have rich text in them just don't display the text in Shotcut.
Could I have deleted it somehow? How can I get it back?

I guess you are not using a build/package made by us as it works for me in our builds, but see this
Ok, installing the Linux Portable does work.
FYI, I was using the package from the rpmfusion-free-updates library.
It does have richtext in shotcut/qml/filters.
