Can someone tell me if there is a way to add scrolling text along the bottom of a video? I am talking about text scrolling from right to left on a single line like a stock ticker or news alerts?
You can do it with a Text: Simple filter.
You have to use a large size, so it can contain the text, you will scroll
start with position = 1920 for the first keyframe (start of the text) and end with -<Size of the frame + 50> at the last keyframe at the end of the clip.
The speed will depend on the lenght of the clip and the size need to contain the text.
