Why can’t I add a background colour to my text anymore?! I’ve checked tutorials but can’t find anything I’m doing wrong. I’m clicking on ‘Background’ and choosing my colour but no colour appears behind the text.
Using newly down loaded Shotcut 19.09.14 on a Windows 10 laptop
Select the background color. Then change the alpha channel from 0 to 255.
It is supposed to set the alpha to 255 automatically for you if you change the color but left alpha at 0. I think this broke in version 19.02. I fixed it for the next version 19.10
