Task bar no longer highlights export progress

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

When exporting a video (that takes several minutes to finish exporting), the Task bar at the bottom of the computer monitor screen, where open applications are listed, no longer partially highlights the Shotcut icon/section, according to the partial progress of the export (gradually increasing left-to-right from empty to full green).

I think this behavior may have stopped in a recent version; I believe it was present a few months ago.

This was convenient for checking at-a-glance whether a video was done exporting, while the Shotcut window was minimized and I was doing some other task, so I hope this behavior can be restored.

Let me know if I can provide any other info or try some experimental steps. Thank you in advance.

Sorry… my link didn’t work. It’s fixed now.

There are no current plans to bring this back. Someone can submit it as a code contribution, but it must be done as a GitHub PR and still able to compile with gcc and not on Windows.
