I dont know how difficult is this suggestion probably very difficult as not implemented yet … but would be great if we click on a button and shotcut get the files and install automagically …

Given the fact that updates are released quite infrequently, about 3-4 times a year, I’m not sure that this is of interest to developers. By the way, an interesting fact: Linux is the only operating system where shotcut is updated automatically. If I’m not mistaken, in windows you can buy shotcut in the app store and it should also be updated, but here I’m not 100% sure.
