Speed Preset Dropdown squished

Windows 11 Home 23H2

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?
24.10.29 (and many previous - forgotten how long)

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
Tiny not urgent bug: the dropdown for Speed preset in clip properties isn’t wide enough to show any number with a decimal part.

Don’t think this was the case when i started using Shotcut but has been like this for a while now - through many Shotcut and Windows updates.
would be nice to be able to see the numbers - as i forget what the options are

I reproduced the issue (Windows 10)
But only when Settings > Theme is set to System

No problems on Dark or Light themes

Good spot, I hadn’t thought about switching themes to see what happens. Trouble is I do like the coloured icons in the system theme

This only occurs on Windows. It is a limitation in our GUI library Qt or the Windows APIs it is using. The problem occurs in other areas like Export > Video and Custom Video Mode dialog. From some investigation and experiments the only way to fix it is to make the field to which the drop-down arrow button is attached wider like this:

Eww. I do not plan to do that as these are minor convenience presets. Another solution is to remove the System theme option.

I assumed it was an API thing.

Personally I’d rather live with the squished drop-down than loose the coloured icons.
