SOLVED Ubuntu, shotcut failed to open

In ubuntu 16.04shotcut failed to open file, thus shotcut will open without opening the file that was double clicked in the file manager.
In my case it is not a question of having spaces in the file name, which could be solved by changing the file name.
Curiously, if you open the shotcut program and use open file this same file will open in shotcut.
This must be a very simple bug. Any solutions would be appreciated.

Meditating about the problem brought the solution:
Simply change the following line in /usr/share/application/shotcut.desktop:
Exec=/usr/lib/shotcut/Shotcut.app/shotcut "%F"
by
Exec=/usr/lib/shotcut/Shotcut.app/shotcut
