Slowmotion with interpolation

Hi.

I’d like to do a slow motion video with interpolation. How do you do that? Slowmovideo seems broken in my Debian and I don’t know of other options, excepto for Cinelerra, that seems to have the posibility.

Any option of seeing it implemented in Shotcut in future?

Thank you.

  1. Increase the frame rate with interpolation using Properties > Convert > Advanced > Override frame rate, Frames/sec, and Frame rate conversion = Motion Compensation.
  2. Use Properties > Speed or the Time Remap filter on the converted clip.

What? =8o

Thank you very much. I’ll try it as soon as possible

slowmoVideo released a new AppImage version 23 days ago that specifically works on Ubuntu 22.04 and 20.04. I tried it on Linux Mint and it works as expected. I realize that’s not the same as Debian, but I’m curious why an AppImage wouldn’t work on any Linux distro.

I have not tried the AppImage, only Debian package that seems obsolete. I’ll do. Thank you very much

ShotCut convert with motion compensation works very well. Great!

Only weird effect is that when processing, percentage value seems not accurate. So it can reach 190%, like in my test.
