Slow motion from a 240fpd (gopro)

I currently trying to tackle the nightmare of producing a slo mo clip from a 240fps video. This has led me to Shotcut but I don’t know how this is achieved. If I import it into a 24fps project it just cuts 9/10th of the frames out, if I import it as 240fp0s and export it it just does the same. How do I keep this stretched out as slo mo?

Do this but then select your clip, go to properties panel and change speed to 0.1. This way you have slowed down the clip by 10x and each original frame (240) maps directly 1-to-1 to the project’s 24 fps.
