I wonder if anyone is experiencing this.
Add a video to timeline, split it so we have3 clips. On properties of the middle clip, slow it down (any speed).
I’m sure the clip should auto-extend at this point.
The playback is slowed down but when it hits clip 3, it’s not seemless continuation from clip 2.
Do you turn Ripple ON before slowing down your clip?
@MusicalBox I didn’t! All is well now so thanks for that.
I don’t know why, but I’d of thought a process under the control of Shotcut (slowing down video) would not require preemptive manual intervention by the user (turn on Ripple) but that must just be my ignorance because you have immediately spotted that as the issue.
