Slight crackle at join when editing music clips together

I made a simple 30 second video that was silent and downloaded a StreamBeats track and created an audio track for it.
I only wanted to use the opening of the StreamBeats track before the drums came in (lol why does ‘everything’ have to have a drum beat). But that was a bit shorter than the video length, so I copied the last 8 seconds of the pre-drum part and used it as a refrain and it fit fairly well musically and didn’t sound like a jump.
When I exported it, there is a slight old-vinyl-record crackle at the seams.
Any thoughts on what causes this and how to avoid it?
