Shotcut won't start a new project

What is your operating system?
Mac OSX 10.11.6

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
20.9.27 - the about doesn’t say anything about 32-bit

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
On the New Project screen the “Start” button is grayed out and not functional.

This is not a bug. You need to type something in Project name. If you do not want to create a project yet, you can just open a video file and get started.
