Shotcut V24.09.13 Hardware Encoding Not Found

So I’ve looked through several of the forum posts already with no clear solution to my specific problem on my version of Shotcut. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:
Intel i5-12500K CPU w/ Integrated Graphics (Disabled GPU in BIOS)
32gb DDR5 RAM
NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPU
Windows 11 Pro 64bit (All Updates Are Up To Date)
Nvidia Driver listed as v472.88 in Control Panel
Shotcut v24.09.13 Listed In Control Panel

Problem:
When I go to export a video, I see an option for “Use Hardware Encoder” with a “Configure” button next to it. When I click “Configure” a new menu appears and there is a list of encoder options. At the bottom there is a “Detect” button so I push it. I get a “Detecting hardware encoders…” message on the bottom of the Shotcut window followed by a “Nothing found” message.

Expected behavior is that encoders are found (since the Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU says it supports encoding)

I’m brand new to Shotcut (as in today I watched a 40 minute video on how to use it and then created a video with it) and not familiar with how it should respond or how to set it up.

Any help on fixing this would be greatly appreciated. If log files are needed, please let me know where to find those files and I’ll gladly upload them. There was not a lot of info on what log files to get or where the log files might be located.

Perfect, thank you!

For future users who may have this issue:
I went to the older software downloads page HERE Clicked on the “Tags” option at the top of the page, scrolled to the bottom and went to the “Next Page” until I found the first 23.09… Tag (3rd page at time of posting this) which in my case was v23.09.29, clicked on it and downloaded the .exe file.
I then uninstalled my current version of Shotcut and reinstalled the new one making sure to not check the box to remove Shotcut settings in the registry. I launched Shotcut and now my video exports.

Your card supports newer driver versions that will let you run the latest version of Shotcut.
