Shotcut should add a grid thing

So i was thinking since im doing a lot of zooming in and stuff it would be handy that if you could click a button and it would put a grid on the screen (not the whole thing but the video area) and it would show you where the middle is and stuff. It could look something like this

if they were to add it the white area would be transparent by the way
