What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?

Someone here is having problems with the shotcut on windows 10, I installed the update it OPENS and then CLOSES.
Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
(Please be specific and use the names as seen in Shotcut, preferably English. Include a screenshot or screen recording if you can. Also, you can attach logs from either View > Application Log or right-click a job and choose View Log.)
Maybe there is a hint in the application log. It can be found in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Meltytech\Shotcut. In the Explorer location bar, enter “%LOCALAPPDATA%” and press Enter. Then look for Meltytech\Shotcut\shotcut-log.txt.
This log tells me the user requested to close or quit. Please be aware that Shotcut does not work on all computers. We cannot tell you which ones it works on but most. There are just a few developers each with a few machines, and it works on ours. So you can try it, and see if it works for you. Please also be aware that the recommended stable version on the download page is 21.03.21.
