Shotcut on macOS doesn't open projects from Finder if already open

macOS Sonoma 14.8.5; only observed on macOS, not Windows

  • What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?

26.4.30 (latest stable)

  • Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

Yes; if Shotcut is already open (whether with an existing project or no project), and a project file is double clicked/opened from Finder, it does NOT open it in Shotcut. Other methods of opening projects seem to be fine from the ways I know of and checked.
