I have a problem in Shotcut. I should actually be able to find and select the name of my previously created/analized motion tracker file in the Size, Position, Rotation filter under load keyframes from motion tracker, but it is not displayed.
I have already closed and restarted the program, I have also tried all the algorithms and I also updated to the latest version, but this has not solved the problem. I urgently need help please. Thank you very much.
One additional step you can try is to save your project before and after Analyze.
Then if you still don’t see your tracker name, Save, Close Shotcut and re-launch Shotcut.
Your screenshot of the Motion Tracker filter is too small. In the English UI you need to click the Analyze button, the job needs to complete successfully, and if there are usable results “Analysis complete.” shows next to the Analyze button:
Does yours show that?
That does not mean one has saved and reopened the project.
I have now tried everything again, but unfortunately the problem is still there. Do you know of another program that also allows you to use Motion Tracker and is easy for beginners?
It does not say “Analysis complete” next to “Analyze”, but there is this green tick in the top right of the job list. (see screenshot 1).
The following is interesting: On screenshot 2 you can see how I try to select the name “face” in the size, position and rotation filter, which I had entered in the motion tracker after taking screenshot 1. no names are displayed. a small dark gray line appears above the selection box when you click on it.
on screenshot 3 you can see how i try to select the name “face” again in the size, position and rotation filter after i have saved, closed and reopened the project after taking screenshot 2. again no names are displayed. this time, however, the selection box turns blue when you click on it.
That is the problem, and someone else recently reported this problem. The job only reports whether the child program succeed or exited with an error. It exited OK, but it did not produce results that can be collected. I do not know why. You can view the job log for hints, and there might not even be any. When it does get results View > Application Log reports near the end something like:
