So i have been using shotcut for a while now but a few months ago i started having an issue that when I import a mp4 file it works fine playing it back but when I move it to the timeline to start editing it shotcut crashes. I did not change any settings and I do not have GPU rendering enabled. I was hopeing that this was an issue that would be solved but as I said it has been months
