Shotcut keeps crashing when i try to interact with elements within a file

I’m running Fedora 42 on an all AMD system (Ryzen 7, RX 7900XT). Fully updated.

All of the sudden Shotcut is crashing constantly when I try to work with my .mlt files. It doesn’t crash when I open the file, just when I click on an element to interact with it. (The elements are just rich text, images, and mp3 files.) Most of the time with the crash report it gives me this link to details but I don’t know what to do with them: ABRT Analytics - Report #1197104 - shotcut in __pthread_mutex_lock@GLIBC_2.2.5

No hardware changes since I started using Shotcut. I have not installed any new plugins (or any at all, actually). I’ve tried restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling. I’ve tried several different .mlt files, even older versions of files, it still crashes every time. All of the .mlt files have a few missing references. That’s never been a problem before but it’s the only thing I can think of that might be causing some trouble?

This is pretty awful. I need to get this project finished by EOW and, even though it’s fairly simple, I don’t have the time to redo it in another editor and have everything look consistent with previous submissions. I can try to borrow a laptop from a friend tomorrow and hope the problem isn’t persisting on another machine but… if anyone has any ideas of how to unblock me I’d sure appreciate it.

Fedora packages are not supported here. Use the FlatHub Flatpak that I make. The packages have this known problem but we do not make them.

Ok, thank you. I had no idea that was the case.
