Shotcut is lagging since update

Hi,
So I had an older version on my computer and shotcut told me that there was a newer version available. I wanted to stick with the version I had, but it suddenly crashed when I was trying to add a filter. So I downloaded the newer version (23.07.29) and it is laggy as hell. Everything, literally everything takes around one second to react, also the preview is playing at 1fps, even when I don’t add any filters or anything else.

Is there a way to get rid of this Problem? I have Windows 10.

There will be no change to Shotcut to make it work better on your computer. You should first reboot the computer to see if it makes a difference. If not, then downgrade to the version listed for Windows 7 (it also works on 10 & 11) on our download page.
