Shotcut ignores missing files

What is your operating system?
Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
V20.06.28, 64 Bit

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

  1. On any scene apply filter “Mask: from file”
  2. Open the filter’s file drop down, select “user defined…” and select a mask file.
  3. Save the project and close it
  4. Rename your mask file
  5. Open your project

–> Shotcut should show an error due to the missing mask file.
However, Shotcut ignores this and when playing/exporting, the mask effect fails silently.
