Shotcut freezing and having to be forcibly closed when adding media

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

My Shotcut was working just fine as I’m an AMV creator on youtube, but for some reason after my last few projects it’s suddenly buffering like crazy, freezing for like 10 minutes just from adding clips to the timeline until it gets so stuck I have to forcibly close it as it won’t respond. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software to no success, neither did clearing up space on my computer in case that was the issue. I honestly don’t know what is going on.

To solve bug reports, someone else must be able to reproduce the issue.
So far all we know is you’re using Windows 10 64-bit.

Things like computer specifications, Shotcut version (asked in the form you filled out), file specifications, filters used, export specifications are all helpful in trying to solve the issues you are having.
