Shotcut Edit Deck — drive Shotcut from a Stream Deck

I’m a solo dev (Pathfinder Prototyping). I built a Stream Deck plugin for Shotcut: hotkey benches you jump between (Logging, Editing, FX, Color, Audio, Player), dials with live readouts (jog, seek, clip edge, markers, zoom, scroll), and a touch-strip shuttle bar jumper.

It’s a paid plugin, one-time purchase with free updates. I’m one person; the fee is the entire business model, and it bridges the usability gap the FOSS project can’t fund itself.

Dedicated profiles or benches for different editing phases help a lot in Shotcut, especially since keyboard shortcuts get crowded quickly. For timeline work, map jog and seek controls to dials, and keep blade (split at playhead) right next to ripple delete to cut down on repetitive hand movement. Having toggle shortcuts like ripple edit or snapping within easy reach on the main editing page also makes fine trims easier.
