ShotCut crashes with corrupted size vs. prev_size

Hello all,

ShotCut crashes sometimes on my Linux box (Ubuntu 18.04, ShotCut 18.12.23). When run from the command line the last two lines printed to stderr are:

corrupted size vs. prev_size
Aborted (core dumped)

It doesn’t crash on a specific action (it happens when playing the timeline, when reordering tracks or opening files).

Is there a specific storage location of the core dumps? I can’t find it in the directory from which I started ShotCut.

If there is any other information I can provide?

After the update to 19.01.27 was an utter disaster (the application crashed each couple of minutes) version 19.02.28 hasn’t crashed on my PC a single time. It seems the problem got solved.
