Shotcut constantly crashes without casting an error

Hi,

I’m using shotcut 24.06.26 on W11 and it crashes for even the most basic operations like moving and importing videos.

The project was originally on another computer with the same version of windows and shotcut. We had to move to a more performant PC because the project started to become quite big.

The crashes now occurre for every basic operation and I’m not able to finish the project. Reinstalling shotcut (the most recent version or the 24.06.26) sometimes make the crashes disappear for a couple of minutes.

This error is not reproductible with a newly generated project.

I cannot fix the unreproducible crashing, but I can suggest something. Do not continue that project. If you must continue to edit it, export it in high quality, possibly using an intermediate preset. Then, edit the export result in a new project.
