Shotcut 26.9.27 blocked by Smart App Control — error 0xc0e90002

Hello,

After uninstalling Shotcut and restarting Windows, I installed Shotcut 26.9.27 using the official Windows x64 installer. Its SHA-256 checksum matched the published checksum, and its Meltytech, LLC digital signature was valid.

Installation completed successfully, but Shotcut fails to launch with “Bad Image” error 0xc0e90002.

Smart App Control is On. Windows Code Integrity events 3077 and 3033 show that Qt6QmlMeta.dll and libCuteLogger.dll were blocked for failing signing-level requirements. Both installed DLLs report as unsigned.

Could you provide a build with signed dependencies, or advise a supported solution that keeps Smart App Control enabled?

Thank you.

We do not sign every included DLL, only the executables. Every signature costs us real money. You can workaround it by buying it from the Microsoft Store or use something else.
