Shortcut for: Timeline > View > Zoom Timeline In Maximum

I frequently Timeline Zoom in to maximum and then Timeline Zoom To Fit to check gaps, audio synch, and audio fade overlap for clips.

So I use the keyboard shortcut Zoom Timeline To Fit quite a lot and to max Zoom in I grab my mouse, left click/hold the Zoom slider, and move the mouse all the way to the right to max Zoom in.

A keyboard shortcut option for Timeline > View > Zoom Timeline In Maximum would be helpful.

That could be useful. But If you have a numeric pad on your keyboard, pressing & holding the + key zooms the timeline to max very quickly.

I just did a test with a 39min AVC AC3 file and from zoomed out it took 19secs holding the numpad plus key to zoom in maximum. For a slider test from zoomed out to max I think it took about 1.0-1.5secs. A zoom max in shortcut that is about as fast as using the current zoom to fit would help.

mmm… You’re right.
I just tried with a 2h mp4 clip in the Timeline and it took quite a long time… and Shotcut almost crashed on me.

Yes, a shortcut for “apply max. zoom to timeline” would be very helpful. Many trim functions are only possible by dragging with the mouse. Doing this “frame accurate” works only if fully zoomed in.

I would appreciate an implementation as “toggle max zoom”. Pressing the key once fully zooms in, pressing it again returns to the previous zoom setting.
