Did some testing on the new 26.01 release on a pretty low powered system.
With and Without HW Decoding in Native 10 Bit CPU mode.
Not fun, but possible 
EDIT: Running on linux (Fedora 43, Shotcut from flathub)

WHhat configuration are you looking for ?
The exports are done with these profiles, w/o Hardware encoder enabled
The Test is using these setting (with Proxy enabled)
What are the specs of your machine?
The test was done on this mini PC
