Hi, I am looking for a nonlinear pitch filter to downpitch high children’s and female’s voices while maintaining lower men’s voices. Thus, a kind of frequency normalization.
Just an idea how this could be achieved, with virtual tracks and cascade filters, but I don’t know if this is possible directly in Shotcut:
- detach the audio track
- create a virtual copy
- apply a low pass filter on one original
- apply a high pass filter on the copy
- apply a pitch filter on the result of (4)
- mix the results of (3) and (5) together
This complex filter is supposed to sound much more natural than just a low pass filter. Is there a way?
