Scope video from Only Audio areas

Hello,

First time poster. I am in love with Shotcut.

I make live scanner radio videos for YouTube and then the next day I scope out all of the silence sections (a bunch of S and X key strokes looking at the audio wave form) so all I am left with is the scanner activity Audio and Video.
Most videos are 12 hours long but turns into about 10 to 20 minutes video when I’m done.

My question, Is there an automated way of doing this?
It take so long to edit the file by hand.
