I use Mpegstremclip for cutting clips clean on a Mac,
In/out points and that save as (option) so that I have a clean cut clip
Is this also possible in ShortCut?
Yes, you can skip the timeline if you want, but it also works with timeline clips. When skipping timeline, you just open a file into the source player and trim. Then, either way, in the Properties panel there is a menu button
and choose Extract Sub-clip. Due to the nature of this operation, if the result is not working well then do an Export, which recompresses but is dependable.
