Hello, you know in some youtube videos where a sad part comes and a sad music plays then the scene turns kinda grey ? That’s what I’m trying to do in shotcut and I was wondering if it is possible. Please help
Hi, the video filter you’re looking for is called Saturation. Turning it down to 0% will give you a grayscale video. You can follow that with Contrast and Brightness filters to change the tone to suit your needs.
The easiest way to animate this is to split your video clip where you want the gray part to start and end, then animate (keyframe) the Saturation filter to go from 100% to 0% and back.
People should consider using the filter trimming in the Keyframes panel now instead of splitting clips.
