Hi Shotcut community,
I used Shotcut to make these youtube videos about RoBug, a small quadruped robot I built as an open source / open hardware project . I used Shotcut a little bit before but these videos gave me reason to dive into it a lot more. Before I started to edit the footage I spent one or two days to testdrive a few other video editing programs but eventually returned to Shotcut - it has everything I need and so much more ![]()
short with some funny fails: RoBug goes offroad… and struggles #diy #robotics #quadrupedrobot
assembly instructions: RoBug Assembly - Step by Step
The assembly video was a lot of editing work - I tried to boil down over 2h of footage to an easy-to-follow instructional video of less than 15min that shows every step of the assembly process . It took me - as a Shotcut noob - about 3 days, was a lot of fun though.
