Open clip in player from Playlist. Trim the in and out points as desired. Open Properties and click Reverse. Open reversed clip from Jobs and voila, just the required, reversed, trimmed clip ready to use! It’s much faster and neater than reversing and then editing an entire clip.

It works on timeline clips as well but with bonus features: it adds up to 15 seconds before the in point and 15 seconds after the out point of additional footage from the source clip and replaces the clip in the timeline while keeping the original in and out points. This extra footage can then be used to adjust edit points or add a transition via trimming without the need to create a new reversed clip.

Yes, I’ve experienced this since one of last year’s updates. Didn’t realise the ±15" part.
