Hello,
I am trying to reverse a video clip but half way through it stops and says it failed.
This is my 1st time trying it and watching youtube tutorial this should be easy as going to properties tab and clicking reverse. I tried few times but it did not work. Not sure why its not working.
Can someone please help me?

This was a bug that was corrected in the latest version that is due for release soon. A beta for the latest version was released which you can find here and test:
