Reverse failed to open file

Hi

I am running Shotcut version 20.10.31. when I try to reverse a video it converts the file in the ‘job’ bar but the the second bar ‘Fails to open …’

I have tried many videos and re installing shot cut

it worked fine yesterday with the same files, no idea what changed

Bug confirmed on version 20.10.31. I tried reversing 3 different files with 3 different resolutions with all of the 3 Convert to Edit-friendly options in all 3 spots (playlist, player and timeline). All did the conversion first step fine but failed on the second step to reverse it.

This is fixed for the next version.

Thanks, I installed an earlier version and it worked fine. I will await the next release…
