I cut a clip to shorten off some of the ending and have since come to realize (much later) I need it to sync things correctly is there a way to restore it? Davinci Resolve has a ripple end effect that lets me drag it back out essentially
If I understand your issue correctly, you should create a new temporary video track move out the clip that you want to extend/restore and drag it from the END part to the right, depending how much you drag it result portion of video being restored. But beware this might affect key frame filter in negative way, if the clip of interest has it.
But I don’t know how to move everything after it, all together so it douesnt destroy the project. 
Hopefully some one else can help with that.
