As far as I know, I can edit and export both 8k videos in shotcut. Yes that needs a really powerful machine, but still shotcut technically has that, then why isn’t this line updated.
This is not specifications but rather a quick marketing summary. Just because you can does not mean you should. I do not want to tout 8K when the speed is not good enough and barely tolerable for 4K.

That is a good reason.
But atleast you should mention the recommended specs for 8k, so those who work in 8k would have a idea of what to get.
