I want to be able to just select (Or jump to) a keyframe and hit a hotkey/shortcut to delete. I’m using Shift+D on Remove Keyframe and every time I press it, while the keyframe is selected, it won’t delete.
This is VERY inconvenient since there’s a hotkey to add them, since I currently have no hotkey to delete them.
I use Toggle Keyframe At Playhead (;) Toggle means to add if not there or remove if it is.
With that said, I just tested your shortcut on Remove Keyframe on Linux, and it works fine for me. I suspect it does not work for you because something else in the UI has focus and eats your key-press. Not all key presses are global all the time, and some shortcuts have a different action depending on focus. For example, you would be very sad if text and numeric fields do not let you press backspace or delete because those keys always get sent to the timeline to remove a clip. That is why sometimes you do want to use the mouse and click on something. Otherwise, the main way to clear focus from something not obvious that is eating your shortcuts is with Shift+Esc (Player > Focus Player in Actions and Shortcuts) or click the player.
