Apologies if this is documented somewhere - I have looked. In the last version or two a preview has appeared when mousing over the list of filters displayed in the add filter dialog box. I find this quite distracting, and it significantly reduces the space available to scroll through the list of filters. Is there any way to neutralize this feature?
No, and I have no plans to add a toggle for it. You can choose to stay on an older version that does not include it. There are a couple of things you can do to increase vertical space such as View > Show Title Bars and View > Show Text Under Icons.
