Remote login no video exported

Hello All,

Am sure this is not a problem with Shotcut itself,but if I remote from work via x2goclient to computer at home with Shotcut to do some minor edits to an existing Shotcut video project, only the audio ends up being exported.

Does anyone have a workaround for this? Have used Shotcut for about 3 years now, and this is first time remoteing into pc and trying to use Shotcut in this scenario.

Without the remote software, have you tried to export the same exact video with success?

Hi Hudson555x,

yes the same video project exports fine if running locally,
,and by accident i found what the fix for this was,
simply unchecking the "Use hardware encoder’ in Shotcut export settings made the video export as expected,even with a remote login now .
