Hello, World! recently discovered I don’t need to clutter me unnecessary programs, so
if Shotcut has FFmpeg built in.
There could be something in the menu, not necessarily a “record audio” button OR yes?
I haven’t been able to fix the capture with PulseAudio yet, but I’m not interested at the moment.

That command line does not work on Wayland or Flatpak. Basically on Linux screen capture and recording is too fragmented and messy to support. I already added something in the next version for Windows and MacOS only that simply uses what is built into the OS instead of ffmpeg as those are more efficient and already have UI to pick a rectangle, window, or screen.
Okay, when Wayland arrives in 10/15 years, we’ll see what happens.
For now, I have for “GUI” an icon launcher; I don’t have to type anything, just press Ctrl + C.
