Could someone recommend what are the best options/settings to export (codec, format, etc) some videos from Shotcut that will be played from USB pens on TVs that have media player?

This should be a pretty common format and code.

Also, what is the best for the speed/quality relationship?

Just use the “Youtube” preset and see if it’s OK.

If too heavy, you just have to lower the quality level to compress it a little more.
