Hi all,
I tried some combinations to export a 1080p 1m4s video clip with HEVC codec.
Quality based VBR, quality=45, with hardware encoder (hevc_nvenc), file sizes is 75,995KB
Quality based VBR, quality=70, 75, 95, with hardware encoder (hevc_nvenc), file sizes are all 76,176KB
Quality based VBR, quality=70, without hardware encoder (libx265), file size is 376,128KB
Average bitrate, bitrate=20, with hardware encoder (hevc_nvenc), file size is 234,662KB
It seems the quality setting of hevc_nvenc hit a limit. Is there any setting I should change?
