I have set up proxy on shotcut and it worked perfect. Lately on both my computers Shotcut is failing to put the files into Proxy.
I have the use Proxy clicked and I have the preview scaling at 360
Any help would be great thanks.
Ensure that Use Proxy is checked.
In this example, I do not have it selected.
Also pushing F4 will turn Proxy on and off.

If the proxy is missing for whatever reason it is not re-created automatically. It is only created automatically when proxy is on and add you add something new to playlist or timeline. When a project is loaded and then you turn proxy on, there is an option in a dialog to create all missing proxies. Try it. Turn off proxy, open project, turn on proxy,.
