Program crash when selecting Image Sequence

Trying to create a time lapse of a job done at work, dragging in the first of the images (all numbered in order) and then checking the “image sequence” box causes a program crash.

Have done this successfully on an older variant of the program (18.12.23) but decided to upgrade, no other programs are running.

Specs:
cpu: Amd Ryzen 5 2600
ram: HyperX fury ram 16g
gpu: Radeon RX560 4G

There was a bug fixed here in the latest version 19.09 as documented. You have not provided your OS or version of Shotcut.
